A hub for the home

anna keeps
the day together.

The radio at ten. The tablets at six. A message that lands on her daughter’s WhatsApp. Everything in the house runs through anna, and nothing said to anna leaves the house unless she asks anna to send it.

anna is a hub for the home. You talk to it. The sensors, the doorbell, the camera, the radio. Everything else in the house connects through it.

The model runs on the device, in the room. Not a wake word sent to a data centre: the conversation itself is never transmitted. The people who care for her see how the day went. Nobody hears how she said it.

What anna does

Six quiet jobs. Three she notices. Three she never has to.

01 · The morning

The day starts on time.

anna wakes with the house. The forecast, the radio she likes, what is on today and the one appointment that matters. Spoken out loud, so there is no screen to squint at, no app to open, no password anyone has forgotten.

“Good morning, Margaret. It’s Tuesday. The chiropodist is at eleven.”
02 · Medication

The tablets at six, remembered.

anna keeps the schedule the care plan sets and says it out loud at the right time. If the reminder goes unanswered, the carer hears about it while there is still time to call.

“Time for the blue one, Margaret.”
03 · Connection

Everyone she needs, without a single app.

A call from her daughter or from her nurse lands on anna and she simply answers. No buttons to find, nothing to set up. Going the other way she speaks, annaOS sends it, and it arrives on her daughter’s WhatsApp like any other message. The reply is read back to her out loud.

“Robert, your nurse Michael is on the line.”
04 · Memory

It remembers she taught for thirty years.

The programme she never misses, the team she has followed since 1962, the garden, the grandchildren’s names, the classroom she ran, and where yesterday’s story left off. It learns the shape of her ordinary week too: how she sleeps, how quickly she answers, how she moves through the house.

“You were telling me about the school in Cork. Did the extension ever get built?”
05 · When something is off

The right human, first.

When the pattern drifts or a morning check-in goes unanswered, the carer hears about it before anyone else, and the family after. anna never decides on its own, and it never stands in for an ambulance or an alarm.

“Margaret didn’t respond at 8:00 AM.” (Sent to her carer, 8:12)
06 · The record

Written as it happens.

Care visit notes, medication logs and incident timelines are produced from what actually happened, so there is no end-of-shift write-up. When an inspection comes, the evidence the service has to show is already assembled and time-stamped.

One source of truth across visits, families and regulators.

Messages both ways

She speaks, annaOS sends, and it arrives on your WhatsApp. Reply in the same thread you use for everyone else. It reaches her out loud.

Calls without setup

One tap from your phone and the call lands on anna. No buttons for her to find. No app for her to open. Nothing to go wrong.

Photos that arrive

Send a photo from wherever you are and it appears on anna within seconds. She does not have to do anything at all to see it.

You’ll know she’s alright

How she slept. Whether the medication reminders were answered. Whether the day looked like most days. Enough to stop checking, without ever reading her messages.

Close enough to stop worrying.

Why we build the hardware

The conversation stays in the house.

The model runs on the device, in the room. Her voice, and everything the camera sees, is processed where it happens and is never transmitted. Only insight ever leaves.
