anna is being built on the ground.
That means in the rooms of home care providers and nursing homes, in conversations with consumers and the families who would buy for them, with hardware partners in Shenzhen, and with care professionals running the early pilots. anna is being shaped by all of them at the same time.
The insight came from seeing two things at once. Voice AI is now good enough, and small enough, to run on a device in a kitchen. And in the West, carers visit for a few hours, and for the rest of the day older adults are often alone. The gap between what the technology now allows and what care actually delivers is widening.
We started anna in November 2025 to close that gap. We sell through home care providers and public health first, because the workflow comes first and carers stay in charge. The consumer version comes next, fully featured and built to live in a family's home. Both versions are being shaped now, by everyone we are listening to.
